Welcome to SkyrimSearch.com!

An Announcement - September 17, 2014

I continue to be amazed and thankful that so many people still visit this site every single day. I've kept SkyrimSearch.com an ad-free site, excepting the occasional banner to support various projects, because ads suck and I always hate ads on other sites.

There's so much more I would love to do with this site, and with other Bethesda properties. The problem is time and funding. The yearly hosting bill approaches. If every person who visited this site in just one day donated just $1, I could literally stop working for a month, and devote that time instead to a ton of work revamping the site and launching similar sites for other Bethesda properties. Unfortunately, past experience has shown that less than 1% of people who read this message will take the time to donate.

I tend to post a message similar to this one maybe once a year, and usually four or five people will send in a donation, which I put straight toward the hosting cost. If you enjoy using this site, please consider making a donation of $5 or more. Once I cover the basic yearly costs associated with the site, your donations give me the ability to put time into further development.

I am grateful for every person who has been generous to make a donation in the past. If you've donated before, I've really appreciated it. You've done your part, and I thank you.

If you wish to support this site, please click here to donate with PayPal.

Sincerely, Brandon Klassen, creator of SkyrimSearch.com
What is SkyrimSearch.com?
SkyrimSearch is a database web utility to help you find item codes and many other Skyrim codes to use with Skyrim's console commands on the PC. These codes are also called Form IDs, Base IDs or Reference IDs. If you found this site, you are probably familiar with using the Skyrim console, since it very similar to Bethesda's previous games Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. The advantage of using SkyrimSearch instead of other websites is that this site has been specifically designed to help you find Skyrim console codes as quickly and easily as possible, without other stuff getting in the way. At the same time, this site does offer some stat information about almost all items, including the content of books and quests, which other sites that focus on codes do not have. Each section of this site has a search that can be combined with various filters on the right side of the page. You can also just start your search for Skyrim codes in the searchbox above! If you start your search here, you'll be searching all code lists at the same time. When you view the results from this Search All function, just make sure to notice how many results are available, and click the link to see the full results if there are more than 5 results in a category. For more information about how to use the Skyrim console, including the most common console commands, visit the Console page.
Search Tips
The search routines search your complete phrase, so it's best to use short searches. If you have a filter selected from the right side of the screen, you are only searching within that filter. Your search text also stays in the box unless you clear it and press enter again. The #1 reason for not finding what you're looking for is a spelling mistake.
